1. Introduction
Welcome to TrueTakeHome.net (“TrueTakeHome”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, tools, calculators, quizzes, digital products, micro-products, services, and any associated content (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
- “User”, “you”, “your” — any person accessing or using the Platform.
- “Services” — all tools, calculators, quizzes, assessments, library content, micro-products, downloads, and any other services provided on or via the Platform.
- “Digital Products” — paid or free e-books, guides, micro-products and files delivered via WooCommerce or other delivery methods.
- “Account” — a membership or registered user account.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform you represent that you are at least 13. If you are under 18, you must have parental/guardian permission.
4. Accounts & Security
4.1 Account creation may be required for certain Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials.
4.2 You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4.3 We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, or at our discretion.
5. Use of Services / Acceptable Use
5.1 You may use the Platform for lawful personal or business purposes only.
5.2 Prohibited activities include (but are not limited to): copying or redistributing content without authorization; reverse engineering tools or code; automated scraping; posting abusive content; impersonation; attempting to bypass security; using the Platform to provide professional financial, tax, legal or medical advice to third parties in place of qualified professionals.
5.3 You agree to comply with all applicable laws in your use of the Platform.
6. Digital Products, Orders, & Deliveries
6.1 Digital Products are delivered via WooCommerce (or equivalent). After purchase you receive access or a download link as provided at checkout.
6.2 All charges, taxes and fees are specified during checkout. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
6.3 Refunds: Because Digital Products are delivered immediately and are intangible, refunds are only given in exceptional circumstances and at our discretion. If you believe there is an error or issue, contact info@truetakehome.net within 14 days with supporting information; we will review and may issue a refund, replacement, or store credit. Some promotional items (free ebooks via coupon) are non-refundable by nature.
7. Coupons & Promotions
7.1 Coupons may be issued for promotions, quizzes, or marketing. Coupon terms (expiry, usage limits, applicable products) are published with each coupon.
7.2 We may limit coupons to specific products and to one use per customer. “One use per customer” is enforced by email and order history.
7.3 Abuse of coupon codes (sharing for multiple uses on the same email/account) may result in cancellation of orders and account suspension.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, tool outputs, logos, e-books, and software (“Content”) is owned or licensed by TrueTakeHome and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
8.2 You may view and download Content only for your personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise permitted in writing. You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without our written consent.
9. Tools, Calculators & Accuracy
9.1 Our calculators, tools, and quizzes provide estimates, educational information and guidance. They are not a substitute for professional financial, tax, legal or medical advice. Results depend on information you provide and third-party data (e.g., exchange rates, tax rules) which may be incomplete or delayed.
9.2 We make reasonable efforts to ensure tools function properly; however, we do not guarantee results, accuracy, completeness or that the tools are error-free. See the Disclaimer for more.
10. Third-Party Services & Data
10.1 The Platform may use third-party services (e.g., MailPoet, WooCommerce, ExchangeRate APIs, CoinGecko, Google APIs, WP Mail SMTP, analytics providers). You acknowledge and agree these services have their own terms and privacy policies.
10.2 We disclaim liability for third-party services’ acts or omissions beyond our control.
11. Fees & Payments
11.1 All paid Services are billed in the currency displayed at checkout. Payment providers (WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, etc.) handle payments.
11.2 You agree to pay all applicable fees. We may change pricing or subscription fees with notice.
12. Termination
12.1 You may close your account at any time by contacting info@truetakehome.net or via your account settings.
12.2 We may suspend or terminate access for breaches of these Terms, suspected fraudulent behavior, or at our sole discretion. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless TrueTakeHome, its affiliates and their employees from any claim, loss, damage or liability arising from your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueTakeHome and its officers, directors or contractors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, data or business interruption arising from the use or inability to use the Platform. Our aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim (or R1,000 if you paid nothing), except where prohibited by law.
15. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern these Terms. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in South African courts, unless the parties agree otherwise.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
